Cruz throwing in with Rubio just shows he's not serious about his positions and will do NOTHING on immigration. Ted Cruz is out for Ted Cruz. He's just another lifetime politician who talks a good game and will stab you in the back if elected.
He signed the Corker bill, he supported Justice Roberts, he flip-flopped on immigration on at least 2 occasions, he flipped on TPP, he has disgusting people around him in his campaign (Glenn Beck, Jeff Roe) and he's a bit of a religious nut job.
Need more?
It is in Cruz’s and Rubio’s mutual interest to try and go after the guy who’s in front of both of them. Good strategy for both. Try to expose him and shake some votes loose. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t serious about their own differences.
If your baseball team is in second or third place and the other contender is playing the division leader this weekend, who do you want to win? The answer is obvious — the other contender. You need to inflict some losses on the leader, and so so they.
Cruz and Rubio both need to bring Trump down some.
When Cruz got clobbered in South Carolina that spelled the end of his presidential campaign. Now he’s reduced to being Waterboy Marco’s wingman.
He supported Justice Roberts?
He had nothing to do with Justice Roberts. He was confirmed before Cruz was even Senator.
As far a religion goes, what the hell are you doing in Free Republic because here we support religious freedom.
Oh, did you hear? Elizabeth Warren supports Donald Trump too. So according to you certain supporters make the candidate an ass.
Your hypocrisy is astounding.
Your hit on Cruz is a grain of sand compared to Trump’s recent changes from progressive to republican. My joy if Trump wins ——watching what he would really do and seeing if you are still fans. He is an excellent politician promising to work with the far left. You guys want someone who fights like a liberal and you are voting for a liberal who fights like a liberal.
I think that’s it. Most of the GOP field has zero credibility. Trump has about 1% credibility. That’s the GOP we have built for the last thirty years. It’s where we’re at. I take no pleasure in that, but there you go.
