Here is item 5 of the Texas Bar Exam instructions.
5. Proof of Citizenship, USCIS Status, or Other Compliance with Rule II(a)(5): You must provide the documents requested in Question 3.
These documents become part of the Boards file and will not be returned to you. Photocopies of birth certificates will not be accepted.
If you are a United States citizen or a United States national, then you should provide the Board with an original birth certificate issued by a U.S. city, county, or state, or an original Consular Report of Birth. Originals are required.
(If you provided this documentation with a previously filed Declaration of Intention to Study Law, you do not need to provide it again with this Application.)
Thankfully there are quite a few of us who still know what natural born citizen means.
Barry Soetoro/Barack Hussein Obama should be proof enough of the wisdom of the founders when they tried to prevent him from being President by requiring someone who could only be a US citizen and nothing else.
Born here of citizen parents.
Naturally a US citizen because there is no other possibility.
One cannot be anything else and also be a natural born citizen.
Obama told us he was born a British Subject.
Who believes Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Jay, Monroe, Madison, etc. would have found him to be a natural born citizen?
Rubio and Cruz think they should get away with it because Barry Soetoro/Barack Hussein Obama got away with it.
Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009, happened with the complete cooperation of both parties.
They want the Constitution changed without the hassle of amending the Constitution.
Confuse people about the clear meaning of a three word phrase and voila, every anchor baby and Winston Chrurchill is eligible.
The bench was the reason the GOP went along with the fig leaf resolution for McCain as cover for Obama.
Jindal, Rubio, Haley and Cruz were all up and comers and the future of the party and ineligible.
It must have been Cruz’s mommy who filled out his Bar Exam because he never knew he was Canadian until a few months ago.
He had it by then. He got his American docs at age 16.
But I do feel that the optics are bad for a president not being legally, provably American until age 16. My dad wasn’t much older when he was naturalized. That is a long time. Not as long as our current Pres, who was in his 40s when the US Senate conferred a passport upon him.
I guess actually BEING American is overrated for candidates.
