I fear that if people are hesitant about voting for Trump in the general election then having Christy as a running mate would most definitely scare them off.

Trumpies are certifiable. Christie's latest approval rating in New Jersey shows him at 33 percent favorable, 59 percent unfavorable.

Trump's approval rating in New Jersey is even lower than Christie's - 31 percent favorable, 57 percent unfavorable.

Trump has less than a 0% chance of carrying New York or New Jersey. Unless he goes full-on liberal and changes those few positions where he differs from Bernie Sanders. Then he might have a shot.
