Just so everyone knows,

Yoko claims to not be a democrat, but she never met a communist idea that she didn’t like.

She is anti-fracking and has the usual to say about Bush, Et al.

Major Obama cheerleader.

Nothing much else came out of her mouth / pen / keyboard that anyone could understand apart from that.

I’m pretty sure she wants me to be disarmed, which means that she seeks harm to come to me and those around me, which means my candles remain unlit this evening.

Carry on, Yoko.

“To the best of my knowledge, she had symptoms along the lines of a serious flu, and her doctor thought it was best that she would get a check-up at the hospital,” said her spokesman, Elliot Mintz. “There is no stroke and there are no life threatening circumstances as has been described to me.

“It’s just an advanced case of the flu.”

Not just good, damn good. Nonetheless, I wish her well, not out of sympathy for her poor artistic skills and stupid political opinions, but because I’m sorry she was widowed young and I have a soft spot for the Japanese.

I had to close my front windows, I was laughing so loudly after reading that remark. What a mind picture that makes!

Some Boomers don’t forgive or forget very easily. They (not me anymore) may be hanging on to anti-Yoko feelings and thinking ‘Die, Die, My Darling!” a title of a movie by Talluah Bankhead.

... but, let's be serious, ...

Okay. One critic said of her during her touring heyday, "She couldn't draw flies."

(She did pay for "Strawberry Fields" in NYC's Central Park as a memorial to Lennon. IIRC, the area had had a "Needle Park" moniker before she funded the upgrade.)

If you’re in your 80’s and you have a serious flu you should call 911.

This goes for all of us.

My sister’s friendd a cop who’s former partner guarded Yoko after Lennon’s murder, he said Yoko was weird but treated them very well...So, I’d cut her some slack.

Great googly moogly! It would have been funny if some kind soul called for 911 ambulance assistance.

Ouch, that's gonna leave a mark. Actually, I disagree ... her "music" could draw flies.

My mother had a stroke. It paralyzed her, and I know she wished in her heart it would have just killed her outright. She soldiered through 10 months of paralysis, loss of speech, infection, and all the problems that come with it - until the end.

I wouldn’t wish it on anybody. I hope Yoko Ono finds peace.

Her husband was a world class asshat jerk. A personal
friend was a member of a well known rock group in the
mid-late 60s. They were introduced to the Beatles and of
the four Lennon was the nasty and rude drunk.

Yoko had no talent but the best to her, anyway.
