That’s what they need for the internet of things.
Looks like a pretty neat clock
These will be YUGE!! Can’t wait. I mostly use PIs for media centers, which suffer performance-wise when using WIFI, but this will likely make some ideas easier to implement.
I like these little gizmo’s. I need to find something to control that will keep my interest. Programming isn’t an issue, I do that all day. Just need something for it to control.
Is it Windows or Linux or both, not simultaneously of course?
I wish I had this kinda of tech back in the day. I had to take out a loan to buy my first PC. $3K+.
My $900 pocket phone blows that first PC away.

Name that reference, and win a prize.
I have an earlier Raspberry Pi (B model) and an Arduino 2560 and have not fully understood their different capacities. The Arduino is a “micro controller” and the Pi basically a mini computer, but there is considerable overlap.
I want to know which one will best operate my Stepford wife.
(OK, just kidding.)
I always wanted to make a good car stereo/computer out of one. The Chinese ones are crap and the “good” ones are priced ridiculously high. I simply have too many other habits ...
City on the edge of forever.
McCoy said it on Star Trek TOS. But I cannot remember the episode. One where they went back in time. City on the Edge of Tomorrow?
Depends on whether you intend to use optical isolators ;-).
I've never used one...but will in future. But I thought they were Linux only. Windows would be too frakkin' huge for one of these. Yes/no?
Star Trek TOS.
"City On The Edge Of Forever".
In my defense, I was doing the dishes from supper. Yes...I love my wife.
You win the Internet for the evening.
Yea!
:-))
Atlas Shrugged???
Supposedly, Windows 10 can be run on it. I’ve not tried it yet, though.
Sorry. Your additional comment removes you from the competition. It was Spock who uttered that phrase.
It’s WAY to complex, large and expensive for most things. Google ESP8266.COM or just “esp8266” This costs about $3.00 if you shop or go to the source (China), and is easily programmed and has WiFi. I built a development system for it with about $8.00 of parts and a PC. The next version will be even better.
Missed it by this || much.
Name that culteral reference.
:-)
