It may seem like I’m nitpicking about punctuation, but I’m not. I only want to know if you were asking a certain question: You wrote “Why is there censorship?” I think you meant this as a follow up to the previous sentence. I think you were saying “Why (does it cost so much money to run this site)...Is there censorship?
I too have wondered why it takes ongoing funding, but, then, I admittedly do not know what it takes to build, design, and maintain such a news forum. It’s remarkable that this can be done without a whole lot of advertising. I, personally, could tolerate a small amount of advertising, so long as it didn’t end up like The Blaze, where the pop-up ads just about prevent you from reading the articles. Breitbart better watch it as well, for the same reasons. Most times I visit Breitbrt, those blasted pop-up insergents chase me away after a few minutes of viewing.
I do have to give credit where it’s due. But the quarterly budget seems to just be giving s few people jobs at the expense of the donors. Websites are not expensive anymore.
