Do you remember when the Saturday morning cereal commercials all had the tag line "Part of this complete breakfast", which consisted of two eggs, bacon, toast, orange juice and milk in addition to the bowl of cereal.
Even as a young kid, I remember thinking, "Who's going to eat all THAT for breakfast?"
I do remember the big breakfast flashing up on the screen, which seemed de rigueur for a cereal commercial at the time. But since I grew up with breakfasts looking like this, I did not think too much of it.
As a child I found it ludicrous to think folks would have a bowl of cereal AND a glass of milk at the same time, PLUS orange juice too.
Talk about forcing fluids.
