I totally understand. I've been buying my husband's slacks and shirts from them for years because they fit him and he really likes the weight of their oxford cloth and flannel shirts. I was finally due for a new winter coat this year and bought a light weight coat and a jacket from them. I get compliments on them all the time and always told people that I had gotten them at Land's End. I now feel like ripping the tags off all the clothing I have bought, sending them to LE, and telling them that if anyone compliments me on their clothing, I will have “forgotten” where I purchased it.
I'm thinking that getting rid of their new CEO may be the only way they are going to get my business back. I really don't understand the thought process by which they reached this decision. Obama is talking about drafting women and renewing the push for the ERA, which, I understand could really hurt the pro-life legislation advancements in many states. I bet this CEO is an Obamaphile of the highest order. But to do this at the expense of the viability of your company? It is nonsensical.

Exactly...and I just posted something similar on their Facebook page. I got (on sale) one of their floral button up sweaters that I wore today to a doc apptmt...and I love it! I also have some of their knit dresses...I’m a very good customer!
This CEO appears to be Italian, maybe brought on to give the brand some international panache?
I feel for the workers..the lady I spoke with was “very sorry” and assured me my opinion Really mattered. They are the ones who will suffer from thisbone head move.....makes you almost understand the Bern...but he’s a GS fan, isn’t he?
