The host and production crew of the television show âMineral Explorersâ visited several areas of Cochise County last week to film scenes for an upcoming episode of the popular show.
ââ is an unscripted, reality series of 30-minute episodes that features mineral dealer Thomas Nagin as he educates viewers about minerals, and showcases the cultures of miners, mining history and some myths about the industry.
Earlier this month Nagin and his crew explored mining-related sites throughout southern Arizona, starting with the Tucson Gem & Mineral show, the Old Tucson movie set, then they were off to Bisbee and Tombstone.
Wonder how many remember the old TV show SHERIFF OF COCHISE COUNTY.
Not to be confused with CADE’S COUNTY in which Glen Ford tries to destroy his jeep every opening sequence.
Sounds interesting.
Is this a local PBS show? Usually we just get cooking and sewing shows.
The weather channel runs a similar program featuring miners digging for gem stones. Pretty good show too.
I pick up 7 PBS channels and no such program. Too bad.
