Trader Rob, I am not trying to mess with your belief system but Trump is actually more conservative than not.

His assault weapons comment was in his 2000 book and with increasing violence at schools he has rescinded the minor restrictions he once suggested in that book.

"Donald Trump said Tuesday he supports allowing Americans to legally buy and own assault weapons."

"You have to be because the bad guys are going to have them anyway," Trump told CNN's Chris Cuomo on "New Day." "What happens when the bad guys have the assault weapons and you don't in a confrontation?"

Trump suggested overturning gun-free zones and said civilians with guns could have stopped the mass shooting at a community college last week in Oregon.

His position on Abortion has evolved in a natural manner not in a political manuever, since 1999 from a woman's right to choose, to ban partial birth abortions in 2000, to abortions are wrong several years later after a friend decided not to abort and the child was the joy of his life.

His position on Planned Parenthood itself also changed. He believed the oft repeated lie that a large portion of their work is related to other aspects of woman's health so he supported them on the basis of woman's health outreach. After he saw the videos there was a dramatic change and he stated that PP should be immediately defunded except for the women's care portion and if possible that aid should be rerouted to other facilities. As it became obvious how little woman's health they service and the other available fascilities he is solidly for defunding PP. Trump is in favor of exceptions to an abortion only in the first few weeks for rape etc.

This past week, for the first time, Trump has specifically promised he would sign a bill as president to de-fund Planned Parenthood .

Trump has repeatedly indicated he opposes Planned Parenthood funding but has always stopped short of committing to sign legislation to stop the flow of taxpayer funds to the nation's biggest abortion business.

Many would like to overturn Rose/Wade and have abortions outlawed. I think that if we were able to defund PP and limit abortions to the first 12-14 weeks we would save many lives and start pushing back on the devaluation of life that has developed in our Nation. Incremental is possible, outlawing all abortions is not and the opposition that would arise from pushing a stronger prolife agenda might make it impossible to accomplish this fist and significant step.

This then is another liberal position debunked, I think two is enough for now.

Has nothing to do with my “belief system”. I am stating documented facts.

He has clearly stated with no equivocations that he is in favor of an assult weapons ban.

He has also argued for increased waiting period to buy guns.

He states that he disagrees with people who “walk the NRA line”.

Well bro, I am one of those who “walks the NRA line”

Here are 11 inconvenient facts on which to ponder:

1.He thinks affirmative action is okay.
2.He would fund Planned Parenthood except for abortion. (This is current federal policy)
3.He supports a progressive income tax. He does not favor a flat tax.
4.He doesn’t want to cut Social Security or Medicare.
5.He’s in favor of a ban on assault weapons.
6.He invited Bill and Hillary Clinton to his wedding.
7.He doesn’t “fully” believe in supply-side economics.
8.He wants to “lead from behind” on Ukraine. Trump believes that Germany should take the lead on Ukraine.
9.He hates the Iran deal, but he wouldn’t abrogate it after taking office.
10. A short 5 years ago he termed the Republican approach to immigration enforcement “mean spirited1
11.He has supported/supports such liberal sacred cows such as ethanol subsidies, Kelo and govt. bailouts.

Are these the positions of a conservative....I think not.
