I hate being forced to use that crap. My engineering software requires Windows and the latest update from them is only supported on Win 10. Yech.

I hear you, mate. My engineering software and controlling cards work only on XP, and it is a constant struggle to keep the systems from suddenly deciding to “upgrade” to Win10, like it or no.

Forced “upgrades” are something I must constantly be on the lookout for, and it is an ongoing problem that I do not wish to have to be constantly dealing with.

I heard talk of a big class action suit for damages. Some of their updates are viruses themselves. They’ve caused a lot of headache and rendered some programs useless. The owner of the computer must have control of the settings. Whats interesting, I think the Pro version 10 and another have user controls regarding updates. Home version etc do not. The Pro costs more money...lol I find this outrageous. It seems they’re trying to force people to get the expensive version.
