You underestimate the cult of personality. Obama had the same effect. People like being on the winning team. It may be the wrong team, but it’s a winning team. We’ve grown away from recognizing the white/black hat westerns. Those were the days when you knew exactly where you stood. (Sigh)
I’ve been called a Trumpanzee and a Trump Chump too but this “cult of personality” thing is ridiculous. If had to list all the reasons why I am voting for Trump, “charming personality” would be at the bottom of said list.
