Good looking Beech Duke. Easy repair. Whether it is done will depend on if he hit the props and needs 2 engines rebuilt. Keeping it on the concrete is better than the grass. Concrete just sands away the aluminum skin, grass rips and tears.
My high school job was pumping 130 octane into a hot rods like this.
Looks like the engines were shut down (or at least the one in the front of the picture).
The tips are still relatively straight. Still I would bet on a teardown since it would still be considered a prop-strike. Hopefully shutting down and feathering the props saved the crankshaft.
I suspect Duke engines and props are a bit more than with a Baron, but this could be the perfect excuse for the turboprop upgrade!
Such a beautiful design, too, it's a shame it doesn't have a market any more.
Maybe Chinese investors or a Chinese entrepreneur will buy it eventually like what has happened with Mooney and the rest and recently with the Windecker Eagle.
