Incoming!
Pope Francis is a bit full of himself.
never mind
Sure, Frankie. Just renounce your faith or pay a hefty tax and they'll receive and respect you just fine. Or they'll respectfully chop your head off.
Not a peep about Christians getting heads lopped off in Muslim country’s eh?
"The sacred writings of Islam have retained some Christian teachings; Jesus and Mary receive profound veneration, and it is admirable to see how Muslims, both young and old, men and women, make time for daily prayer and faithfully take part in religious services.
I haven't decided yet whether this pope is profoundly ignorant or profoundly evil. Probably a combination of the two.
We do not that he gets low marks in ‘depth’.
The Pope is a sin-soaked individual who seems to know even less about the Bible than Donald Trump.
Correction:
“We do KNOW that he gets low marks in âdepthâ.”
I would rather take religious advice from Trump than the pope.

The only problem with building a wall will be that Whoraldo will be on the wrong side of it.
Gross conceptual error.
Geraldo, bless his little heart, is over 70.
Pretty soon he’ll find out if heaven is real or not.
I hope he doesn’t thing we get there based on building or not building walls.
I sure hope that Hispanic Christians are a little bit deeper than that.
But, the Popes never have liked stoneMASONS.
:>)
If you want to disagree with Pope Francis with his off-the-cuff statements while flying back to Italy, feel free, but why make things up?
Why are you lying by implying the Pope:
1) said Osama bin Laden was “OK” when he never said any such thing
2) that the pope believed Trump wasn’t going to heaven when he has never said any such thing
3) that the pope believes Bin Laden is “OK” because “Muslims Venerate Mary” when he has never, ever said anything of the kind
Seriously, if you want to disagree with Pope Francis’ actual words and beliefs, fine, but why lie about what he has done or said?
And you pass yourself off as a Christian?
It’s called IRONY to make a point, V998.
The point being that “building a wall” is not a basis for determining a man’s salvation before God.
But, you won’t hear it, so...whatever...
“The Pope is a sin-soaked individual who seems to know even less about the Bible than Donald Trump.”
Pope Francis - just like you - is a sinner. But to say he doesn’t know much about the Bible is just a plainly ignorant comment on your part.
Pope Francis recently penned an introduction to the German edition of the YouCat Bible:
My dear young friends:
If you could see my Bible, you would not be particularly impressed. Whatâthatâs the Popeâs Bible? Such an old, worn-out book!
You could buy me a new one for $1,000, but I would not want it. I love my old Bible, which has accompanied me half my life. It has been with me in my times of joy and times of tears. It is my most precious treasure. I live out of it, and I wouldnât [take] anything in the world for it.
I really like this new Youth Bible. Itâs so colorful, so rich in testimonies: testimonies of the saints, testimonies of young people. It is so inviting that when you start to read at the beginning, you canât stop until the last page.
And then And then it disappears on a shelf, collecting dust. Your children find it one day and bring it to the flea market.
It must not come to that.
Iâll tell you something: There are more persecuted Christians in the world today than in the early days of the Church. And why are they persecuted? They are persecuted because they wear a cross and bear witness to Jesus. They are convicted because they own a Bible. The Bible is therefore a highly dangerous bookâso dangerous that you are treated in some countries as if you were hiding hand grenades in your closet. It was a non-Christian, Mahatma Gandhi, who once said: âYou Christians look after a document containing enough dynamite to blow all civilization to pieces, turn the world upside down, and bring peace to a battle-torn planet. But you treat it as though it is nothing more than a piece of literature.â
So what do you have in your hands? A piece of literature? Some nice old stories? Then you would have to say to the many Christians who go to prison or are tortured because they own a Bible: âHow foolish you are; itâs just a piece of literature!â No. By the word of God has Light come into the world, and it will never go out. In Evangelii Gaudium (175) I said, âWe do not blindly seek God, or wait for him to speak to us first, for âGod has already spoken, and there is nothing further that we need to know, which has not been revealed to us.â Let us receive the sublime treasure of the revealed word.â
So you have something divine in your hands: a book like fire! A book through which God speaks. So notice: The Bible is not meant to be placed on a shelf, but to be in your hands, to read oftenâevery day, both on your own and together with others. You do sports together or go shopping together. Why not read the Bible together as wellâtwo, three, or four of you? In nature, in the woods, on the beach, at night in the glow of a few candles ⦠you will have a great experience! Or are you afraid of making a fool of yourself in front of others? Read with attention! Do not stay on the surface as if reading a comic book! Never just skim the Word of God! Ask yourself: âWhat does this say to my heart? Does God speak through these words to me? Has he touched me in the depths of my longing? What should I do?â Only in this way can the force of the Word of God unfold. Only in this way can it change our lives, making them great and beautiful.
I want to tell you how I read my old Bible. Often I read a little and then put it away and contemplate the Lord. Not that I see the Lord, but he looks at me. Heâs there. I let myself look at him. And I feelâthis is not sentimentalityâI feel deeply the things that the Lord tells me. Sometimes he does not speak. I then feel nothing, only emptiness, emptiness, emptinessâ¦. But I remain patiently, and so I wait, reading and praying. I pray sitting, because it hurts me to kneel. Sometimes I even fall asleep while praying. But it does not matter. Iâm like a son with the father, and that is whatâs important. Would you like to make me happy? Read the Bible!
Pope Francis
You will never write anything as inspiring about the Bible as Pope Francis did there - because it doesn’t mean as much to you as it does to him.
“Itâs called IRONY to make a point, V998.”
No, it’s called lying.
“The point being that âbuilding a wallâ is not a basis for determining a manâs salvation before God.”
Except that’s not what the pope said or did. What he said was that people should build bridges not walls. He said that it wasn’t Christian to build walls: “A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not the gospel”
And not being a Christian does not automatically preclude someone from going to Heaven so it has nothing to do with “determining a manâs salvation before God.”
“But, you wonât hear it, so...whatever...”
No one can hear what doesn’t exist. You’re making something up. He NEVER said anything about Trump’s salvation. To say otherwise is LYING.
Also, if you actually could “hear” you would know that Trump has repeatedly pointed out that his wall will have a door so the “good people” can return. Thus, the pope’s comment - no matter what he meant by it - cannot even correctly be applied to Trump.

Claiming this is all “irony” while also claiming the pope gives a pass to Bin Laden because Muslims “Venerate Mary” shows nothing dishonesty on your part.
Like I said...whatever.
And he isn’t even a real pope.
He’s a replacement, fake pope.
