How is that any worse than those that use both as a campaign prop?

Here is an idea: Stop using religion as a tool?

We complain she democrats give speeches in black churches, but here we have endless “pastor x endorses...” posts.

I don’t know these people. Why should I care whom they support?

With the sorry state of American Christianity, these people should be spending more time fixing their denominations rather than trying to be politicians or accessories to them.

So, you want to take away the first Amendment rights of pasters and Christian leaders. Leaders from all other walks of life endorse and I see no reason why Christian leaders should not do so as well. Honestly, for all of Trump’s supposed political correctness some of his supporters sound like card carrying members of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State.

....”Using religion”.....

This country was founded on “biblical laws and principles,”...The American CONSTITUTION is based on God’s laws...it’s not about “using” religion.

Dobson and others like him supporting and endorsing Cruz are not using religion....they are citizens who have the right to endorse Cruz or any other candidate they choose to endorse.....

You’re probably missing the point that Christians are very much involved in this election......coalitions are hug this year across the nation and with good reason.....

Additionally.....separation of church and state does not mean that the president or his supporters can not be god fearing men and christian worshipers as the left would have you belief............there’s absolutely nothing in Cruz’s life of public service that has shown he would force his Christian religion upon others, and he has repeatedly defended the Constitution.
