Microsoft really screwed up Skype. “Skype for Business” is a bloated hog.

I wish MSFT would spin off Skype so that it would become useful to me again. When MSFT acquired Skype the quality deteriorated immediately. I can no longer use it to talk to my friends in Việt Nam. It used to be clear and had good video transmission. Within a month of the transition the video got bad or nonexistent and the the sound is bad, like speaking in an iron pipe if connection can be made at all. It worked for awhile paying for connection to non Skype phones but the accounting kept getting screwed up and the likelihood of connection declined. I am back to calling using calling cards.
