What possible penalty is there for completely stalling the procedure until 0bama is out of office? A media tongue-lashing? 0bama calling them names? Come on, guys, this is politics, if he wants a Supreme Court justice as part of his legacy, what's he offering in return? Nothing?

More to the point, will refusal to yield cost the Republicans any Senate or House seats? No? Then folks, face it - 0bama's got nothing.

And the media will carry the message that Republicans are being obstructionists.

Yes, the Republicans may be afraid of what the liberals say about them.

Do Republicans take a stand and fight this battle?

Or do they give and and meekly allow a 5th liberal join the Supreme Court, but avoid having the MSNBC talking heads say mean things about them????
