The difference between Ronald Reagan, influenced by Lemuel Boulware and others, was a genuine conversion and change of heart as opposed to the opportunistic switches Donald Trump made dumping the Republican Party for the Independence Party only to quickly dump them for the Democrat Party where he formed all his “wonderful” relationships with people like Bill and Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Charles Rangel along with hundreds of thousands in political contributions only to drop his party affiliation altogether and then sign back as a Republican so he could take a shot at the White House. As for Trump the businessman, you overlook the fact that in 1982 he took over his father’s $200 million real estate company. His name is all over colossal failures like Trump Shuttle (RIP 1989-1992), GoTrump.com travel site (RIP 2006-2007), Trump Magazine (RIP 2007-2008), Trump Mortgage (RIP 2006), and Trump casinos (RIP 1980s-2013). The Trump Organization based on revenue is roughly the same size as NN in Tennesse, which make tiny steel balls. Its all about licensing the Trump name on tea, coffee, and cologne to name a few. Trump University is a get rich quick scheme masquerading as a school and highlighting the problem with schools are that they tend to be “academic.” I’m not impressed by a man that took himself down from a 50% stake to only 5. You have to overlook the fact he’s stiffed quite a few creditors and investors. Of course crony capitalism helps whether you’re having the CRDA abuse eminent domain (CRDA v. Banin) or trying to get Bridgeport to condemn 5 businesses to clear the way for Trump’s venture. It also helps when you use politicians in New York to legally hold off casino ventures to benefit your own in Atlantic City. I don’t see anything impressive. Its like Pacino’s line in the Devil’s Advocate about greasing even the dullest dreams with these dollar-green gold-plated fantasies, which is the Trump business model..licensing the Trump name albeit in 4 foot tall gold-plated letters.
Oh, Good God.
Good start.
Now to make sure that everyone reads closely and derives full import from your “paragraph” why not send punctuation and capital letters to the same junk pile where you put your text breaks.
That will definitely pique reader interest.
None of you have ever lost money to card sharps. [Or won money from them, which is BETTER!]
I was taught a valuable lesson in "betting" when I was a mere 18 years old. It only cost me 30 dollars, and I paid up.
Trump is a MASTER of that game. I learned enough to not get peeled in my later years. :)
Weird away!
It keeps life interesting.
(I'll just warm up the Interociter...)
