Sheesh. I know quite a few people who are named one thing, yet their PARENTS have called them by another all of their life and it just sticks.

No kidding. This one is seriously going down the stupid-express lane of the rabbit hole.

My great-grandfather was named Edward and went by “Ted”. My wife’s family refers to each other by their middle names. Big freaking deal.

No was reading this morning about names and how the American Indians had such and impact on the names in Georgia and the English language and the spoken name do not match, that's all. Happened upon Cruse in another article, just wondering.
