It is a question of limiting government intervention in a case where there are two victims. In the case of rape, I would add a charge of murder to the rapist if the woman chose to have an abortion.

At the time of conception, there is one victim. Instead of charging the rapist with murder after the fact, we have the opportunity to prevent the murder in the first place.
