As for riots in the streets, those need to be organizing immediately. After the appointment, it won’t matter. Even before, it’s not likely to matter as the Senate is already getting into the bend over position. I’ve been thinking about this since posting, and I think you are right. I have NEVER been one to anticipate last minute marshall law by the Dalai Bama, but with THIS, I could envision several scenarios which could lead to that.
