I love to tie those IRS scammers up on long phone conversations while I’m posting on FR.
Anyone involved in these fake SWAT attacks should go to prison for decades. It’s attempted murder, and there is no reason decent people should be exposed to dangerous predators.
I just got such a call. I’m being sued so better call back and pay up or the police will be here within thirty minutes to arrest us!!
The call came an hour ago. Still waiting.
The penalty for that should be death. You can be killed in a confrontation. The caller deserves to die.
“Police say the IRS will never call or threaten someone over the phone UNLESS YOU’RE A CONSERVATIVE!!!.”
I suppose it sounded a lot funnier to the scammers when they were high.

I cannot picture this ending well for the scammers.
A few simple safeguards:
1) If a call emanates from out of the area code, or ESPECIALLY from out of the country, any dispatched units are to be instructed to arrive in a low-threat posture.
2) In the case of domestic calls, should the call be BS, the originating number (which cannot be shielded from identification) is traced and the calling party promptly arrested in their jurisdiction.
3) In the case of foreign calls, serious thought should be given to outright dismissal of those calls.
A scammer called my 10-year-old daughter yesterday. Luckily I was right there, so she passed the phone to me.
One of Obumturd’s people claimed to be a “lieutenant” with the local county sheriff, and started talking about how I had not reported for grand jury duty.
I called the sheriff’s office. They were aware of the scam, but didn’t seem to have any plans to do anything about it.
If I worked for the sheriff, I’d be looking for scammers claiming to be with the sheriff’s office.
