I have been reading Robert Dallek’s biography of LBJ.

Everyone was having a good time in the ‘70s. Wilbur Mills was easily re-elected after Fannie Fox went into the tidal basin. A decade later, Gary Hart was derailed when he took a ride on the Monkey Business.
