I saw Johnny a couple of years before he died. He had to be led out to a chair because he couldn’t see and he could only play slow tunes. It was sad and afterwards I wished I hadn’t gone to the show because I preferred to remember him the way he was.
I agree with you 100%. I played a lot of Stevie Ray Vaughan in a band I was in.
The Start was the way to go.
I am older now, and lean on the Gibson’s for their ease of playability. LOL.
I play more Jazz now, and I like the ES-135 for that.
