Like Barack Obama eight years ago, Rubio is a young and handsome first-term U.S. senator, an eloquent speaker with a compelling personal story who is a candidate for the presidency of the United States.
And like Obama eight years ago, Rubio is in a horse race. And despite his stumble in Saturday night's debate in New Hampshire, he nonetheless is sitting comfortably behind the leaders and ready to make his move. Once he sees his opening, he could sprint all the way to the White House.
In many ways, America is back where it was eight years ago. Voters are looking for renewed hope and a sense of identity, and they want their country to regain its pride and stature in the world. There is a current of anger in the campaigns of Cruz, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, but strip away the veneer and you find an undercurrent that has always driven America: optimism for a better future and for a leader who will represent the dignity, the decorum and the exceptional qualities of the greatest nation in the world.
I've had the opportunity to get to know Marco Rubio. I've lived in Miami, so I understand his roots and the people he represents. I have no doubt that he can be a great president -- but first he has to win the race.

Comparing Rubio to Obama is ludicrous. Obama could do absolutely nothing wrong by the media because of his color and party. Rubio is a white pubbie who will get no free ride.

“What Marco Rubio needs to do now to win”
Yeah and I need to hit the Lotto
Yeah and I need to hit the Lotto
Yeah and I need to hit the Lotto
Yeah and I need to hit the Lotto
Ooops did I just repeat my self 4 times in a row. /s
Very little experience.
Elected as a Tea Party conservative.
The next day joined Chuckie Schumers gang of 8 after repeatedly asserting he was anti amnesty.
Well i will Never vote for this liar again.
Tea party. Conservative my ass.
“Comparing Rubio to Obama is ludicrous.”
Both lawyers.
Both have eligibility/citizenship issues.
Both have very little time in current position prior to running for president.
Both are talkers, not do-ers.
Both have no accomplishments.
Neither has managed employees, payrolls, or mega projects.
Also can do a search-and-replace, search for “Rubio” and replace with “Cruz”.
Rubio does not need your vote to win. He needs 28% of the Hispanic vote and he is the next President.
There aren’t enough hispanics (yet) to elect him.
He still needs GOP voters and if he is nominated, he won’t get them.
That’s a promise.
What I, Marco Rubio, Need To Do To Win
1. Fox News orgasmic about me all day
2. Memorize better 25-second speeches and more of them
3. Change to Red Bull Lite
4. Have Gov of New Jersey limo driven off bridge
5. Need to buy stickier toupee glue, more anti-sweat Botox treatments
6. More high heeled boots. People seem to like them
7. More anti abortion speeches
8. Less anti-Obama, more anti-Hillary
9. Keep smiling bigger than Ted
10 Appear to agree about Trump’s wall
Seems he's already getting one.
You are dead wrong. The Hispanics in the U.S. will make up 24% of the voters, and that is the ones that are legal Americans. Knot heads that will not vote and allow Hillary to be President are a noisy but tiny group. I have said those bold words before and then put on my big boy pants and voted. Most Republicans that care about the country will.
You’re an amnesty shill
What a great recommendation! What else do we need to know?
Oh, wait...how's the crease in the leg of his pants?
14% is closer to the truth for hispanics and they vote 80% Democrats at least.
You are talking about very small numbers of the total vote.
Even if Rubio managed the 28% you stated that is 3-4 % of the total.
Amnesty candidates lose because the citizens don’t want it.
Ask Presidents McCain and Romney
Character assignation is a ploy. No I am not.
Rubio is a stronger canidate than Romney and much more conservative than McCain. Not voting will give us President Hillary Clinton.
Rubio is a backstabber
I never give more knives to backstabbers
If elected he would give the Democrats a permanent majority and every other issue conservtatves care about would be flushed down the drain.
If he moves the Hispanic vote by 5% he wins.
No because he will lose more than that from people opposed to abandoning the rule of law and surrendering the country to fraudulently documented foreigners
I think you are wrong. I have heard that for years. We will just have to disagree. My brother says that all the time until he faced with the possibility of a Hillary presidency. They will vote and WE will win.
Did McAmnesty win?
He lost by 10 million votes
