convivial; adj.
1. friendly; agreeable: a convivial atmosphere.
2. fond of feasting, drinking, and merry company; jovial.
3. of or befitting a feast; festive.
Etymology: 1660s, "pertaining to a feast," from Late Latin convivialis, from Latin convivium "a feast," from convivere "to carouse together," from com- "together" (see com- ) + vivere "to live" (see vital ). Meaning "sociable" is from 18c. Related: Conviviality.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

It was a very good defensive contest and some people just prefer lots of scoring. I loved watching Denver win, since the MVP and coach are both fellow Aggies. We went to school with the coach so it was especially sweet to see him succeed.
At the risk of sounding sanctimonious,
I wish the Pubbies could be more harmonious.
I wish they wouldn’t make war for the trivial,
Why can’t we be a bit more convivial?
I suppose it would be a miraculous stunt,
But there’s nothing more scary than a United front.
Had a nice evening with my convivial kids and a few of their friends last night. I’m paying for it today, I never eat food that junky.
We had a convivial “Souper Bowl” coffee hour and Annual Meeting at our parish after Divine Liturgy yesterday, and raised lots of money for IOCC.
And NO POLITICS, either!!!! That helped to make the event convivial!
Now, with the approach of the New Hampshire Primary, let the politics begin!!!!

It was ten years ago today, the day before my 40th birthday, I got one of the nicest birthday presents ever from some very special ladies. It was a pretty rough patch, and their kindness was a really big help in getting through those times.
Thank you so much for making my day a decade ago. It made more than just my day. I still smile every time I think about it.

Boy Cam Newton doesn’t come out of this looking very good does he? he jumped back rather than dive on the fumble, and then stormed out of the post game press conference. He has kind of been billed as the Second Coming so this was a big come-down.
excellent! A+++ missed the debate because I was in the air, but have seen the aftermath. Do not like the nastiness, Christie is an Ahole IMO. Talk about canned and robotic, HOW MANY times do you hear him mention he was a fed prosecutor and his wife was in NYC on 9/11? THEY ALL give canned responses and repeat the same phrases, it’s such a stupid thing. I don’t have strong feelings for any of them, nor does ANYONE I talk to, but I would vote for Rubio today, and will in the VA Primary in March. It’s who my entire family supports, including all three kids.
