the only “birther lie” is the relentlessly pig ignorant refusal to recognize there is a concept called “natural born citizen” which is utterly unique in it’s definition and not to be confused with “citizen”, “naturalized citizen” or “native born citizen”. They all mean completely different things.

Rubio is an anchor baby and Cruz's birth was under the same circumstances as the Prince of Monaco and assorted other foreign (including Saudi) royalty. Under the law, I think both Cruz and Rubio are eligible, but I seriously doubt the Founders intended people born under their circumstances to be.
