Phyllis Schlafly was the first major conservative to endorse Marco Rubio for US Senator over Governor Charlie Crist.
Yesterday Phyllis Shlafly said freshman Senator Marco Rubio should be disqualified from the presidential race for lying to conservatives in English and saying something entirely different on Spanish language television.
Schlafly released a 15 page "Rubio Betrayal Memo" Friday to denounce Rubio's actions as US Senator. Check Eagle Forum for updates.

Schlafly was asked if she believes Donald Trump is the last hope for America:
'He does look like he's the last hope [for America],' Schlafly said. "We don't hear anybody saying what he's saying. In fact, most of the people who ought to be lining up with him are attacking him. They're probably jealous of the amount of press coverage he gets. But the reason he gets so much press coverage is the grassroots are fed up with people who are running things, and they do want a change. They do want people to stand up for America. It really resonates when he says he wants to Make America Great Again".

It’s disappointing to me about Rush. Even with all his success (more power to him)...I’ve always believed he was for the the hard working folks of this country. But if he wants to give Rubio a pass on amnesty/borders, then I’m done with him. I almost feel like this entire election is not about Dems and Republicans. This election is about the “elites” in Washington against the working people of the country. This is exactly why Trump is getting so much support. Cruz/Rubio/Kasich/Christie = all have paid for lifetime pensions from the government at this point. I despise politicians.

You guys remember back in 1993, Limbaugh started having doubts about G.H.W. Bush, and started making somewhat positive noises about Buchanan and even Perot?
Then he got invited to the WhiteHouse for a little visit....and suddenly was back to shaking his pom-poms on the Bush Cheerleading squad. He lost me for several years after that. History seems to have repeated, except instead of a Bush, it is Rubio.
Rush did the same thing last time with Romney. Pretty sure he said everything good about Romney during the primary fight that he could short of endorsing him.
I heard that too. I didn’t know for a second whom I had tuned in to. But I felt betrayed. I like the idea of giving R a time out.
