Or Heidi. $5, $10,....
I just saw the link which looks real to me. What you posted didn’t. So, I would say it is definitely real.
He’s asking for small donations, and he will match the donation. I don’t see a problem with this. I think he said he’s getting a lot of these, and it’s an insult to send the money back.
He’s matching the donation with his own money? Who has ever done that?
In summary, I spoke without checking this out. Looks real, but I don’t have a problem with it. Have wanted to send money to him. Is it tax deductible?
How VERY typical of a Cruzer.
He isn’t totally self-funded.
“At the start of his campaign, he loaned his political operation $1.8 million. As of Oct. 1, he had given his campaign an additional $104,829.27 - but he had also received $3.9 million from donors, which accounted for the vast majority of the $5.8 million his campaign had taken in by then. His campaign website features a prominent “donate” button on its homepage. Trump has spent $5.4 million, and interestingly, about one-quarter of his spending has gone to Trump-owned entities (mainly his private jet company).
In January, Trump launched an ad campaign in Iowa and New Hampshire, saying he planned to spend $2 million. He also claimed that his campaign was $35 million to $40 million below budget. Ultimately, all of his spending - and where the money came from - will have to be disclosed in campaign finance reports. The odds are his personal share of the spending will be less than 50 percent.”
Lol.
I have a throw away email address that I use for that crap. So I never see them.
Many months ago, Trump heard about the PAC set up by people he doesn't know, using his "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" slogan and had his lawyers tell them to CLOSE THAT PAC DOWN; HE DOESN'T WANT IT AND HASN'T AUTHORIZED IT!
Only problem is that the fundraising email that has been posted in this thread did not come from the Make America Great PAC, it came from Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. - that's the campaign itself, not the PAC.
We do, too! That’s what is so bizarre .... they’ve even found our main email accounts, too :(
Kind of scary, no?
Another one you cannot unsubscribe from (ala CRuz’s Hotel California) is Rush Limbaugh’s daily emails. Same thing.
I have no problem with him fundraising either. I just don't think he's particularly honest when he says he's self-funded, considering that half of his campaign expenditures have been funded by outside contributions.
And no, campaign donations are not tax deductible.
Oops!!!
That’ll leave a mark. LOL
You cut and pasted something sent to you in a FR post and yet claim you never saw it? That’s really a desperate attempt to cover for Donnie boy.
Ted’s work? Why in the world would one candidate send out a request to get donations for someone else?
No, no, you just don't understand. Cruz's campaign sent that fundraiser, in the hopes that someone would dig it up in a FR thread before the NH primary (months later) to falsely discredit Trump's "self-funding" campaign narrative.
That's just how deep Cruz's campaign dirty tricks run.
Perhaps, some day soon, you may finally awake from you slumbers/delsuions.
So you’re not disputing the one thing I posted about. Okay...I’ll mark you down for retracting your belief in the lie re Trump; has a PAC. :-)
I never said that Trump has a PAC. I said that Trump's campaign itself (not a PAC) was conducting fundraising activities. Your comment about the PAC had nothing to do with anything I had posted.
LOL. Nice dodge, Counselor.
.
Dodge? I answered your (baseless) allegation.
