Watching Fox News, I see Cruz has 28% and is the winner, but you'd never know it, because it's been "Rubio is the real winner" and now they've been playing the Rubio 3rd place speech for the last 20 minutes.

Many city people buy a place in the country. Itâs done all the time. Why not Trump? Yeah, they buy 'a place.'
You ever worked a farm? If you ever did, if a New York construction dude said: "I think I may come here and buy a farm".. Like buying a farm is like buying a grocery store. It's a joke to a local. More an insult.

Trump's, "I think I may come here and buy a farm" concession speech The temptation to observe that Donald Trump has already bought the farm in Iowa is irresistible.

It is like a candidate from a midwestern state insincerely stating:
- "I love it here in Oregon. I'll buy a coffeehouse someday."
- "I love it here in Massachusetts. I'll buy a raw bar and park my car someday."
- "I love it here in Louisiana. I'll buy a swamp someday."
- "I love it here in New Jersey. I'll buy a strip club someday."
- "I love it here in Colorado. I'll buy a ski resort someday."
All pointless commentary. Just be gracious and leave it at that.
That said...Go Donald Trump! Go Ted Cruz! Beat Hillary! Beat Bernie!

Trump may have “bought the farm” tonight but if you think Ted Cruz is going to be President some day then you’re as out of touch as your avatar suggests.

Your unsupported prediction is no less valuable than mine. It is not me that you Trump supporters have to worry about, it is Marco Rubio.
By the way, I invite you to take a look at my about page, you might find something interesting there concerning Nathan Bedford Forrest.

Why would I bore myself with the arrogance that floods twitter?
Of course it takes words to get a point across, it just appears that you tend to use far more words than necessary.
Just my own personal opinion - of course you reject it, your choice to do so -
To: Barney Gumble
Don’t you know Rubio won Iowa? I heard it on Fox. :-)

Now I am really confused, is it the words or the paragraphs that are the problem?

Rubio, is going to have to do it without me. He is the Republican Obama, young, no experience, runs from crucial votes but talks a good game. Thanks but no thanks. .............................................. Same here. In spades! It's going to be Romney all over again if it's Rubio.
To: TBP
I doubt it
Trump is three times ahead of everyone in New Hampshire one week away
And Nevada and South Carolina and all similar margins
13-25 points ahead of closest
I expect it to tighten a hair but that would be quite a collapse week after week now the next 20 days
Then Super Tuesday
I’m fine either way
Only surprise in Iowa is Rubio surge.....that does bother me
Cruz or FU folks gonna be even hotter next few weeks

It would be disastrous if the general election is Hillary Clinton vs. Marco Rubio.
Her handlers will coach her how to make it appear she is toying with an inexperienced boy in WAY over his depth.
While not necessarily the truth, that is how they will make the "optics" for the mainstream media.
It must be Trump or Cruz for us to have POTUS victory.

Like him or not, he is currently delivering one hell of a speech. Dictators give great speeches too. Lenin, Mussolini, Hitler, Mao, Obama...

Indeed. My point is, keep an eye on him. His rhetoric can win supporters. And on the rhetorical front, he is better than cruz
To: Fernet Branca
What I fear might happen is, just as the Rockefeller Republicans shoved Poppy Bush onto Reagan’s ticket in 1980, the GOPe will shove Rubio onto Cruz’s ticket. Thus, Rubio will be the Establishment’s “minder” to keep an eye on President Cruz.

Well, Rubio would belong on that ticket regardless of some GOPe conspiracy we think might be at work; You have a juggernaut in that pairing. It’s smart politics.
To: Mollypitcher1
Yes it does. And didn’t they also do it to help McCain?

Well, Rubio would belong on that ticket regardless of some GOPe conspiracy we think might be at work; You have a juggernaut in that pairing. Itâs smart politics. Cruz/Rubio would be a dynamic ticket, as long as Cruz kept a sharp eye on the oh so slick Rubio; I would trust him in a Cruz administration as much as I trusted GHW Bush (and his minions) in the Reagan administration.
