The only tv movie musicals I like are Grease and the Sound of Music.
Ok just remembered a few more but can’t recall the titles, lol.
I fear watching remakes will have horrible additional scenes and won’t measure up...

Well, NBC in 2014 BADLY messed up Peter Pan, but their 2013 Sound of Music Live (with Carrie Underwood) and the December 2015 Wiz LIve were pretty good. And they got a good audience.
