The convinced cruznadians are True Believers. They’ll vote for their precious or theyâll stay home.
Fortunately for the country in general and conservatives in particular, the convinced cruznadians are a relatively small number of people.
I’m not so sure about that anymore. HMCS Cruz is taking on water and I see some Cruzers threatening to jump ship to Marco Amnestio. I can’t fathom a “principled conservative” supporting Rubio after Gang of 8. But then again Cruz himself campaigned for Barack Obama’s trade agenda and they don’t have a problem with that. Strange, strange election.
Anybody but Trump. I’m fine with that, I’m a “anybody but Jeb, Rubio” sort of person.
I think there are True Believers and then there are Disruptors.
A few of our FReepers have something of a hobby of looking closely at FReeper posting histories. They find some very interesting things. Like FReepers who haven’t posted in 9 years all of a sudden posting. Or FReepers who post like mad for days on end... then take Federal holidays off.
The question we should ask in politics is: who benefits? Ted Cruz wasn’t on the political scene 9 years ago. And neither Trump nor Cruz benefit from internecine battles.
So a bunch of emphatic Cruz supporters “suddenly” switch to Marco Amnestio? Color me 15 shades of skeptical.
