My wife and I drove past there this evening on our way to a movie at the theater across the highway. We saw a bunch of flashing lights and didn’t know what it was, but when we passed it and saw all the “Police Crime Scene” yellow tape and that it was a check cashing store, I said, “I bet someone tried to rob it and somebody got shot, either the robber or the clerk.” This confirms that I was right. Glad it wasn’t the clerk.
Looks like the Irving Police Department saved you and your fellow Texans some money.
No costly trial, years of incarceration, court appointed attorneys, etc.
Well done Irving PD.
While a happy ending, I am concerned about the issue of “knowing your target and what is behind it”.
Not just with the traffice but it appears as the camera holder walk around to the angle of the shooter, a white office building in line with the shot.
