What I see and saw was Chump riding Cruz’s outsider credentials, knowing he’d backstab him later as a birther.
For years Republicans cried about biased journalists biases but still stood up (except for McCain and Romney) and manned up.
I can’t wait to see Chump the Trump turn hard left after the RNC convention.
He hasn’t “cut Trump’s lead by NINE points”. Trump was ahead by 1% (over Carson), now he’s ahead by 10% (over Cruz). That’s not cutting Trump’s lead. TRUMP HAS INCREASED HIS LEAD BY NINE POINTS.
I find it interesting how quickly one is attacked for opposing beliefs here.

Trump fans who are enjoying this are kidding themselves if they do not believe that their guy will be reduced to rubble by the same media if Cruz is knocked out.
Rubio is their guy, as he is the media's guy (at least until the general) and they will not be denied.
Trump was at 23% in the first poll. Now he’s at 24%. How has He “Increased his lead by 10 points”?
Are you really that mathematically challenged? A 10% lead over your closest opponent is 900% higher than a 1% lead over your closest opponent. Nobody cares who the top loser is.
Most of us Cruz supporters are used to it. When a candidate is a childish bully with the emotional maturity of a Jr. High “Mean Girl”, there is always the strong likelihood that his supporters may fall into the same category. Let them flame away.
And btw, it also doesn’t show whether Cruz’ surge is over or not. It only shows he’s higher than three months ago. That was before Cruz had his “surge”. Unless you have figures from a couple weeks ago when it stopped, it only shows he went up at some point and has retained some of it. For all you know, Cruz could have been at 18% three weeks ago and has lost ground since.
