Probably potassium carbonate. Been too long since I’ve had chemistry to figure out what it might have been mixed with to produce this result.

...because the hostesses have little to do while IN FLIGHT but clean out the ovens with toxic oven cleaner.

Glad you notice that too. I didn’t know that Commercial Airliners have ovens. If they do, I demand a nice meal to accompany my flight. Unless someone is inhaling it onboard.

Yep... Mustard gas is great for cleaning ovens.
