Little bit of trivia. The guy with the glasses stirring the sauce Vinnie was Scorsese’s real life father. His mother played the mother of Tommy DeVito.

That I knew. That's a couple that must have been together so long they started looking like each other. I thought she was great in Goodfellas. She reminded me so much of my grandmother, right down to the house dress and "I'll make you somethin' to eat" even though it was the middle of the night.

If you've ever seen The King of Comedy, she's also the voice of Rupert Pupkin's mother.
