Trump, with liberal deal making with Pelosi brass balls!
Apparently the GOP has been successful at brainwashing you into believing or rather accepting the fact that every time a Republican even talks to a Democrat about policy they lose.

I wish Cruz would just RELAX. Wash his hair, don’t use so
much Brylcreem on it. Get himself some NATURAL FIBER suits
and casual clothes. . and RELAX! And did I say RELAX? Just
say “NO” to polyester!!

You mean the polls that have shown a 15% bias to Dems for the last two elections or the ones that showed Reagan losing to McGovern by 40 pts.

So if the polls are that unreliable, why do the Trump supporters jump up and down over every poll that shows him ahead? If the polls have that much of a bias toward Dems, that may explain why Trump is leading in the primary polls - he is the closest to a Dem in the GOP field...

So Obama is for building a wall? I did not know that

Many people are for building a wall, and many have said they would be a wall.

Donald “says” he will build a wall and as added bonus make Mexico Pay For It! How ignorant is that?

This country has drifted so damn far to the Left, we need a true constitutional conservative to just bring the ship back to center. Good grief! Why do people not understand this?

If any republican candidate gets in there, they prove to be moderate to left leaning, the march toward socialism and the final nail will continue.

Y'all remember this...democrats in Texas are more conservative than republicans in NY / Northeast / Left coast.

I don't wanna hear anymore bout Sheila Jackson Lee (D) TX. either. She was born in Queens, NY. Why the hell she’z down here I'll never know. Perhaps it's just to embarrass our state.

VOTE CONSERVATIVE...ALL THE TIME!

I am NOT voting for amnesty for illegal aliens.

Cruz just wants to redefine what an illegal alien is and what amnesty is.

Cruz wants to give them all legal status to remain here.

Cruz: “...once we’ve demonstrated that we can [secure the border], then we can have a conversation about what to do about whatever people remain illegally,” Cruz added. When asked if that conversation included the potential for a pathway to legal status, he repeated, “We can have that conversation with the American people once we secure the border.”

I like Cruz, but he can’t win the general.

Truer words were never spoken. The current polls suggesting Cruz can beat Hillary belie the fact that Cruz is unidentified. It is actually an anti-Hillary poll. Both Hillary and Trump are well known so the placement of Trump near or occasionally above is a very good place for a Republican at this point. Look, Stalin could get 45% of the vote running in the Democrat party

Would someone please have the guts to tell me in what ways Ted Cruz is too conservative?

Cruz isn't too conservative. He is a globalist running on a staunch religious platform. Fact is - should Cruz get the nomination - there would be mega-millions of dollars spent on ads in the first couple months attacking Cruz as a religious zealot: the war on women would be front and center... add in the starving widders 'n orphans ads to Cruz's Snidely Whiplash appearance and he is dead in the water... like really, really dead.

Reagan is to Cruz as lightening is to a lightening bug. Reagan was pleasant, fatherly and starred in so many movies he was well known and liked. Cruz is preachy and unpleasant, face it.

Trump is tough and coarse, but that is a man of this time when folks are fed up... add in that Trump is as well known as Reagan was, we might have a winner.

Vote for Cruz and watch him lose to Hillary or Bernie.

Vote for Trump and watch him become Hillary or Bernie.

Show me where I have taken any of the polls serious or even mentioned them. I will tell you the election is over no matter what the polls say.

How many elections have you won. I have won 10 of 12 in a Blue state. I like Cruz, but he did not do what he needed to do.

Cruz is preachy and unpleasant, face it.

And therein lies the rub.

Cruz's supporters on FR love the fact that Cruz was a Harvard debating champion.

Problem is, everyone else in the country thinks that Harvard debating champions are smarmy jerks who just want to show how fancy-pants educated they are because they went to Hah-vahd.

If Cruz was going to do things precisely within the conservative constraints of the Constitution, the first thing he should have done before running is straightening out his citizen issues. There are some saying questioning if he even has any citizenship at all (maybe Cuban?), after giving up his Canadian citizenship in recent years. I want his citizenship issues settled before my vote is given...and I admire he man, but will not vote for him until and unless he is proven eligible. It is time to settle this issue NOW.

Not Trump. I would have to be drunk to vote for him myself. So if he is the nominee, I guess I will buy a quart of Jack Daniels. :)

Trust me, I wish I could combine the best attributes of Trump and Cruz, and leave out their weaknesses.

Afraid we’re gonna have to vote for the lesser of 9 evils.

Rand Paul really needs a personality transplant.

I really don’t want another Bush or another Clinton.

Rubio needs to color his hair gray and have somebody beat his face with a track shoe. That baby face just has no gravitas.

I was very impressed with some of the things that Christie said and his delivery was very good.

Ben Carson was... well Ben Carson.

Kasich was Kasich. I do believe that whatever he says is coming from the heart. But he’s a knee jerk bleeding heart that seems to think that the Federal Government needs to be doing the job of the Church.

Cruz was very good, but he needs to learn to talk in terms that idiots can understand. He is very cerebral. His ethanol answer was great, but most of the people in the room are ethanol welfare recipients, so that didn’t go over too well there. But at least he was being conservative.

If anyone else was on the stage, I don’t remember them. I guess that won’t help their numbers.
