Not wanting to be argumentative, but when your vehicle is stopped by LEO, especially during a chase, jumping from the vehicle while surrounded by cops and you do anything at all but lay on the ground or stand still with your hands up...you can expect incoming fire.
This man wanted to die. He chose this over being locked up for years in a 6x9 cell. I get that. It is intellectually dishonest to have watched that video and determine anything other than LaVoy attempted to reach his pistol....twice.
Doesn't make him a demon or bad guy, he chose not to be incarcerated.

Really? Why would you get out of your car without FIRST HAVING DRAWN YOUR WEAPON? Makes no sense to me. Tell me.. WOULD YOU GET OUT OF YOUR CAR INTENDING TO FIGHT WITHOUT A WEAPON IN YOUR HAND?
