My lazy step daughter had no idea that in order to draw SS someday she would first have to work and pay into the system. She was extremely angry when she learned the facts.

The day I graduated from college, I asked a classmate who majored in Music what he was going to do. His response was similar, but he figured he'd collect unemployment benefits.

You should have seen the look on his face when I told him he had to have held a job first, and that he couldn't be fired or quit and receive benefits. Priceless.

Did you suggest he become a music teacher? That seems to be what many of them do.
