Ever since Lois Lerner I’ve been afraid to donate to any campaigns. I’ll admit I was cowed. I just hit the max on the donation site and feel damn friggin good about it - it was a charitable donation but it feels like a political one too. C’mon FRiends - go hit the button too !

I hadn't thought about that, but I guess it could be a concern. Although if they audit me on my taxes, well ok. At worst they will find I added or subtracted wrong but most likely won't find a thing. I am pretty careful and really don't have that many dedications. house, 4 kids, charity, and that is it. And as far as charity goes, I only use what we officially give to the church. Whatever else I do during the year isn't documented or added on the tax forms. It takes me about an hour to do my taxes. That is how easy they are.
