My first hope was Trump/Cruz, but thinking with the recent back and forth, Cruz is a no go for VP. (Supreme Court - absolutely)

I like Sen. Sessions as VP - a solid choice.

I’m starting to prefer Allen West as VP. Makes Democrat heads explode 3 ways:

1. Skin Color (I know irrelevant to FReepers, but to libs, identity is everything). If Trump even gets 15% of the black vote, election will be a YUUUGE landslide. Would like to see a Youtube video with Allen West between Diamond and Silk doing their thing - totally viral video!

2. Combat veteran (strengthens military bona fides and also likely can bolster the taking care of veterans thrust).

3. His combat experiences fighting jihadists. (He can totally dismantle the “religion of peace” argument - would relish seeing him obliterate his opponent during the VP debate).

Since West has 3 key advantages where I think Sessions key advantage is immigration (yuuuge to be sure, but I think Trump has that argument well in hand), I think West is Best for VP!

Totally agree. Additional reasons:

1. Jeff Sessions is already a highly effective U.S. Senator. He's also old and white.
   
2. Allen West isn't afraid to use the bully pulpit. He'd be a great one-two punch for Trump.
   
3. By the General Election, Trump could even tone things down a notch or two and let West specialize in throwing the red meat.
