Even when he confirmed he knew he was a dual citizen after becoming a senator, he took some time to renounce his Canadian citizenship, even though it is a very quick process. Either way it is weird, but who knows how many other candidates running for office have been dual citizens but didn’t disclose it.
Agree. He should have renounced it before he ran for any US state or federal office.
