Jeb Bush and John Kasich hired them for key campaign staff positions.
John Boehner and others campaigned for them.
Speaker Paul Ryan said he would vote to grant them special rights.
And Nikki Haley pledged that a future Republican president â⦠would respect differences in modern familiesâ while respecting religious freedom, which many see as irreconcilable objectives.
Why is the GOP establishment âgoing gayâ?
There are only a few possibilities. At first glance, it seems money, prestige or protection from the loss of either must be the principal motives.
It canât possibly be the case that this many people suddenly are cool with anal sex between two men as a sound and positive basis for âmarriage.â
And indeed, money does talk.
Wall Street is now exerting massive pressure on Republicans by pushing the âLGBTâ agenda. In a breathtakingly short span of time, corporate America, too, has gone âgay,â and the moral decline of too many American businesses has a big impact on the GOP.
Some Republicans are motivated by the desire to appear progressive in the eyes of the jaded mainstream media. They also interact with many âoutâ homosexuals in Washington and New York circles, clearly a corrupting influence. And sometimes âLGBTâ advocates threaten to reveal useful closet skeletons.
Homosexual political operatives know how to use â or invent â dirty rumors. Weâve all seen how this is done.
It becomes imperative that we choose new conservative leadership in the White House who will set a new tone in this country: responsibility, respect for faith and constitutional freedoms, true concern for national security and a genuine heart for children.
There is no future without morality, without children â without God.
Letâs elect leaders â Republican, or maybe not â who walk the walk.

That is because the LGBT has more balls then the GOPe. It’s called penis envy.
Ay caramba!
Republican staffers and politicos in DC, even (perhaps especially) plenty of ultraconservative ones, have been disproportionately gay for years.
Take a look at Frank Luntz’s picture, and then do some background on the personal lives of most of the other GOPe and you will find your answer, and not just this answer - pretty much all the answers.
“That is because the LGBT has more balls then the GOPe.”
Sad and true.
I’m curious how they will change the platform.
Remember Nikki Haley talking about embracing the “modern family”?
Disproportionate in show biz, news media (same as show biz) and politics.
Why did you post a pic of Sessions? What does he have to do with the thread topic? Are you attempting to slander a good man? Shame on you.
It’s attached to the Trump make up photo. (Real photo from Breitbart).
Somehow it seemed to fit this thread.
Donnie went a bit heavy on the lipstick and make up that day.
(Sessions is just attached in the photo but it has nothing to do with him).
Let Nimrata Randhawa take her Hindu self back to India, run for office and appoint a bull dyke as her assistant? See how long she lasts.
I wonder if Bollywood money infiltrates Indian politics as much as Hollywood money here.
It can still be turned around, but only by working from all directions, bottom up and top down. Our political representatives won’t speak up for this when our church leaders are more concerned with convincing others they love homosexuals than with teaching people the unchangeable truths in Scripture. When the battle was there and being won, religious wimps ran for cover. They argued every which way but the right way (except for tepid adherence with lots of exceptions) while they stood strong in the bashing of any christian or conservative who tried to stand strong. The left never let up with the name calling and the lawsuits. The right grew weaker and weaker. But the weakness started with church leaders and others. They thought a little chamberlain style negotiation would lead to cultural peace in our time. How wrong they were. Now the threat to them grows nearer and nearer. Can they admit error? I doubt it. There is a lot of the arrogant trumpism to go around. Instead they still point fingers and blame others and say we can only change it with the gospel.
Of course the gospel is the pearl of great price. Of course it is the only answer to redeem sinful mankind. That does not mean it is the only responsibility we have in life, or that maintaining religious freedom isn’t an aid to spreading the gospel. Or that we should be indifferent when the state markets immorality and evil to the whole of society, calling good evil and evil good.
I’m for fighting. Trump is not the answer (yes yes, the gospel is the answer, but we must work from every angle just as God does with redemptive grace as well as common grace). No the government can’t save us, but it can make the road to hell easier and the road to truth harder. Yes, Christ will build His church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. That does not alter our responsibilities in every area of life while we sit back and wait for Him to fix our negligence. Look around. Judgment for indifference has brought the gates of hell smack inside the walls of the church.
I could go on forever. I’ll just stop here.
The only reason that tiny minority has power is because they are relentless and shameless.
Listen to his tape promising on gay Marriage
Good posting. ....It is a puzzle for normal people to understand why the 3-5% LGBT Americans are being pushed by the govt. and the media. Sick!

Those who fail to learn from history __________ it?
Establishment right hates social issues.
Not falling for that. The attempt is shameful, imo.
