Is Trump's Mass Adultery Relevant to His Qualifications to Being President?
News Machete ^ | 1/26/2016 | Ed Straker

Donald Trump has slept with a lot of married women. Don't take my word for it, take his.

Trump wrote that he once considered an open marriage with his first wife, and in his book "The Art of the Comeback" he said: "If I told the real stories of my experiences with women, often seemingly very happily married and important women, this book would be a guaranteed best-seller."

Not only did he commit mass adultery, but he bragged about it. Should such an immoral man be elected President?

But it is a private affair, you may say. His private life, which is separate from his public life.

I don't think so. If a man is dishonest in his relationship with his wife, that shows a big flaw in his character. If he will be dishonest to the number one person in his life, he will have no qualms about being dishonest with the American people:

1) Trump has said that Ted Cruz's citizenship is no problem in September and now it is a big problem. Which time was he lying? 2) Trump has said we must accept Syrian refugees and the next day that we must not. Which time was he telling the truth?

3) Trump has said he wants to dismantle Obamacare but he has also said he supports universal health care--which is it?

4) Trump has said he likes Clarence Thomas but attacked Scalia for opposing racial quotas.

5) Trump has switched political parties five times.

6) Trump was for amnesty for illegal aliens for most of his adult life but now he says he is against it

7) Trump was for partial birth abortion for most of his life but now says he is against that too.

I think Trump's dishonesty in his personal life shows he cannot be honest in his public life, and thus he is not suited to being President.

Those are all liberal democrats who were unfaithful to their wives and to their country. Do we really want to nominate another one?

You don’t care that Trump has bragged about having affairs with married women. Doesn’t character matter at all to you. If Trump was willing cheat on his wife and encourage another woman to cheat on her husband do you think he will have any problem betraying you?

Even most slightly more people would never cheat with a married women. Someone who sleeps with married women should be shunned as a creep not elected President.

“Who cares? I’m not voting for saint...I’m voting for PRESIDENT and all humans sinned”

Fair enough.. but somehow you can reconcile that with the need to elect someone who’s trustworthy? Did the Bill Clinton years not teach us about the necessity of a president not opening himself up to the possibility of blackmail?

In the real, certain, foremost of things, character is ALL that matters.

Stoners should understand!

Hypocrisy is the contrivance of a false appearance of virtue or goodness, while concealing real character or inclinations, esp. with respect to religious and moral beliefs; hence in general sense, dissimulation, pretense, sham. It is the practice of engaging in the same behavior or activity for which one criticizes another. In moral psychology, it is the failure to follow ones own expressed moral rules and principles
