Right. That’s why he was here for 40 years before he renounced his Canadian citizenship, illegally got elected to the US Senate, used the citizens of Texas as his stepping stone to the presidency, & then thought he could squeak through by hiding his ineligibility, his shady financial dealings etc.

Few countries have birthright citizenship. Cruz’s mother had always told him she had never sought citizenship for him.

Technically, the first time he voted in the U.S., that nullified his citizenship in Canada. His renouncing it was a formality.
