Why would Trump practically ask an “obviously ineligible” person to be his running mate, putting his campaign in the general at risk?
Trump isn’t saying “clear it up” - Trump is calling him “a Canadian”. He says its clear. You are simply misrepresenting him.
Maybe Trump doesn’t hold grudges because he really doesn’t mean much of what he says, including his attacks on others. Just saying what he needs to in order to win the deal.
Did you watch the debates?
What he is saying now is all that matters from Tump and for his supporters, remember?
Anyway, if Trump wants to have Cruz as a running mate but just needs it cleared up, he could simply say that when asked on the issue.
But he isn’t. Trump is driving the narrative. And he is saying he is ineligible. Trump made the choice to drive the message out there by bringing it up repeatedly.
All I said is Trump can’t go there now without walking back his birther comments somehow. His choice.
“I was a Ted Cruz supporter from the get-go.” Looking through LOTS of pro-Trump posting was not able to find one pro-Cruz mention.
That’s one of those ‘disclaimers’ Levin mentioned about Trump fanatics. It fools no one other than yourself.
Ask Minnysoter.
So we are in agreement then.
Yes, of course, Cruz should just give up before the first caucus. Brilliant.
So you think that there should just be a gentleman’s agreement behind closed doors about who gets to be the nominee instead of an actual competition?
Yeah, Right.......
Clyde Barnum Trump could name hitlery his VP and it would not one iota difference to TrumPETs, would it?
Well put, Rooster. He needs to keep his credibility to continue to advance his ideas.
Thatâs one of those âdisclaimersâ Levin mentioned about Trump fanatics. It fools no one other than yourself.
As opposed to those who hang on to every word a guy who yells into a microphone all day?
And Ted Cruz could select Bernie Sanders as his running mate.
Of course, we both know that both scenarios are absurd and will never happen.
Much better chance of Clyde n hitlery tag team.
So he was not a man of principle then, and you think he is a man of principle now? Trump hasn't changed at all; he will lie and deceive people for his own personal gain and aggrandizement. It's part of is nature as a malignant narcissist, and justified in his own mind because he truly believes he is better than everyone else.
>> So he was not a man of principle then
He was with respect to his businesses, and evidently, conservatism wan’t a priority then.
My support for Trump concerns what he’s saying/doing now, not his bipartisan past. I also support Cruz. Either works for me.
