Trump then playing the game of politics no doubt for the sake of prosperity, but we know for certain that his rhetoric is now alienating the Left and its chattering classes, so for that, he’s got my support.

Could somebody tell me why the Cruz supporters post the same stories over and over? Sometimes it’s from the same source. Sometime same subject different source. Same posters over and over. Do they need to limit the number of posts per day one can make? Or can you guys regain some composure?
By all means, if Trump supporters are doing this as well, they should not. In the end we all basically want the same thing we just have our own ideas on how we get there.

A lot people used to be fans of the Clintons. Many of them die hard democrats. Hillary’s poll number reveal that she doesn’t have the fans she used to have. Trump could be among the ex-fans that have woken up.
That is what ya all have been praying for, is it not? Perhaps we should be grateful for answered prayers?

They can both be true. Private citizen Trump said something nice about Hillary years ago and U. S. Senator Principled Conservative (TM) campaigned for Barack Obama a few months ago.

If you think that the Dems weren’t going to bring up the birther issue, after the nomination you are dellusional. Trump brought it up to clear it out of the way. And Cruz not taking care of it is whose fault? Oh that’s right, It is Cruz’s fault for not taking care of this issue. Not Trump.
We are deluded if we think either Trump or Cruz stand a chance in the general. Neither is a Conservative nor competent.

If this constant crap keeps up Cruz will never be the VP, I have so wanted a Trump Cruz ticket but this is getting so ugly I am beginning to think it will be impossible in the end! I mean how could Cruz possibly justify wanting to jump on a ticket with someone he has REPEATEDLY claimed is just another Hillary???
Trump wasn’t a lifelong politician. What has Ted done except posture, opine and cast irresponsibly stupid votes.
You phrased it as Trump burnt the bridge. Did you watch the debates? Trump practically asked Cruz to be his running mate, but needed him to clear up the birther issue. Trump is in it to win and isn’t going to take a risk on the birther issue. Ted failed to get it cleared up and instead tried counterattacking. At this point, it will be a stretch for Trump/Cruz to make up to be on a single ticket. And I’m saying a stretch as Trump is known for not holding grudges. If the bridge is burnt, Cruz did the burning.
