I don’t even own a .22. All the fun I can have with a .22 I can have an air rifle for a fraction of the price.
I hope so, I ran out of Colibris a year ago and can’t shoot in my garage any longer.
I certainly hope so. My favorite is the Marlin 60 and I used to consume large quantities of .22 ammo.
I miss doing that.
I was in the Lemmon Valley Wallyworld last week and they actually had some 22 SHORTS. Haven’t seen those in years.
Since late last year, our local Academy Sports has consistently had bulk 22LR boxes at 5 cent per round without limit. They have kept stock up every time I’ve been in there for months.
Having been almost forced back into air rifles because of the last couple of years, my own .22LR needs have been cut back to a small fraction of what I used to go through, and though I'm getting back to using a Ruger Mark III again, the new shooters will have to take up my slack.
I used to use Aguila ammunition some years ago when it was the ammo of last resort, and I gave up on it. Now that some of what I used to consider "better" ammo has apparently abandoned QC, maybe I should give it another chance. Has anyone here had good results with recent lots of Aguila's standard velocity stuff?

The Friends of NRA group in my area is currently doing a drawing that includes four .22 firearms and 13,000 rounds of .22 ammo. That would be a heck of a jackpot.
Aguila makes some fine ammunition, in many calibers. Their 38 Super is better than what we make domestically.
The last box in my neck of the woods I saw was a box of 50 for $11. I havent seen any bricks anywhere for years.
Glad to hear that Aguila is stepping up production. I was happy to see that they’re listing several new loadings in 5mm Remingtom Magnum Rimfire, which was a dead caliber for twenty years. They have a number of interesting items listed under “Special Products”.
