Everyone step back a second and take a breath.
My one shred of evidence that Trump has always had conservative tendencies is a lifetime of raising his children with conservative values!!! The way his children have been raised tells me EVERYTHING I need to know about the man!!! All of his LIB speak while trying to be successful in the state of NY as a huge developer mean zip to me!! Just look at his kids!!!
yes, his kids are amazing. There is no doubt DT raised them “right”.
Well, I have to agree that's what you saw in my mirror.
You know what mirror is, don't you?
I asked you what you saw in it, and you posted the above.
And speaking of basic civics, what to you think of Laurence Tribe's view of the Feckless Canadian?:
According to Tribe, Cruz applies a double standard to his interpretation of the Constitution, to which he deemed Cruz to be a "constitutional opportunist" and a "hypocrite."
"I've done a lot of historical research on it, and so have a lot of other people, and the best evidence seems to be that what they meant in 1788 was something more than just citizen from birth," he said. "They actually meant a citizen whose birth was sort of natural, not in a biological sense but in the sense of connection to the land. The idea was, that it was something that Congress couldn't change, unlike the naturalization process, which Congress has monkeyed around with all the time. I mean, for example, in 1934, the first time it said, you can be a citizen who doesn't need to get naturalized as long as your mom was an American citizen. And that's ultimately the basis on which Cruz has to rely. The funny thing is, that the kind of guy Cruz is, he's always been this way. When he was my student he was this way. He's always said the Constitution always means the same thing that it meant when it was adopted. That's why he made this funny joke to Trump, you know, saying, the Constitution didn't change since last September. Well, he thinks it didn't change since 1788 when it comes to gays and, you know, women and other things. But when it comes to his own ambition, he's suddenly becomes what he accuses me of being, and it's a pretty true accusation, a judicial activist. That's not the guy he is normally."
"He's being a constitutional opportunist, a hypocrite," Tribe continued. "It's sad, because he makes light of it, but it is a genuine open question, and there's no way of getting around it.
Maybe Cruz can issue a commerative Janus coin in honor of his candidacy...
Don’t ask questions you don’t want the answers to.
Hey - check my posting history.
I had nothing but good to say about Ted Cruz until today.
Heck, JUST THIS MONDAY some Trumpkins tried to crash a Cruz supporter's personal thread about his little girls meeting their idol, Ted Cruz.
I warned them off.
Note I called him a "Cruz supporter". He wasn't a jerk like you "Cruzers".
Check it if you don't believe me.

You "Cruzers" are bringing the blowback on your True Believer selves. :)
You and yours have pinwheels-for-eyes, Lenhart.
One of the finest but absolutely bat crap crazy liberal men I know has raised two absolutely wonderfully kind gracious daughters. His children are amazing examples of his parentage. But he is still a barking moonbat crazy ass liberal...about as far removed from being a conservative as I could imagine.
Of more import to me in this regard is that, from the TWO documentaries I watched about Trump, he cheated on both of his first two wives, the two mothers of his children...I cannot trust a man who would betray that most intimate of trusts.
Oh - thinly veiled insults about Trump, I see.
I suppose we're meant to insert "Trump" into your little anecdote about your "lieveral man".
No sale, Chummy Boy.

LOL Just might “AXE’ him myself! Thanks, Kiryandil.
First off, in now way do I or would I insult Jim. Saying I was disappointed in his support of trump is not an insult in any sane world.
And no, my liberal friend in my anecdote....was a friend and coworker for 12 years. So, um, whatever.
“Ultimately it comes down to this, I think...trump supporters, for whatever their various reasons are, are willing to take him at his current word. Anti-trumpers do not have that faith, we look at empirical evidence that all points elsewhere.”
We have to. We took candidates coming from the usual places (governor, Senator, etc.) at their word and based on their prior record that they would be CONSERVATIVES, and with very few exceptions, we kept being DOUBLE-CROSSED. For a person like me, with no political connections, it becomes VERY DIFFICULT to trust anyone from that system and, sadly, Cruz is from that system and has done some questionable things in both his campaign and after being elected to the Senate, and he will still need the BIG MONEY (i.e., GOPe) to get the top job.
So it becomes easier for us to look at motivation, and when we do that, we see that Cruz has a lot to gain by being top dog, while Trump, worth billions, has no other rational reason to put himself through this nightmare, as he could just as easily fund a very nice retirement anywhere in the world. That leads most of his supporters to believe he is telling the truth, as he has nothing to gain from lying (other than what the mind readers say about boosting his ego)...so Trump wins that, easily.
In fact, ironically, the only person likely NOT LYING to us is Jeb, who promises to flood this country with enough Illegals to put a final nail in coffin for conservatism. Thankfully that’s not working too well for him.
I'm sure these "documentaries" from your liberal friend must have been totally objective, and would never show any hyperbole or lies. /s
If this is so, why aren't his wives front and center condemning him as the Clinton women do? You do know they support him in his quest for the presidency, and say he would make a great president don't you?
You do know all his children respect him and appear to be kids we can all be proud of, don't you?
I finally lost it on the "Cruz is the only one" crowd two days ago.
Until then, I was a Cruz guy.
We may need to go through twelve step programs......
The documentaries were on TV....History channel maybe? One was from probably 10 years ago and one was from about the last 6 months, but both aired recently. To be honest, they were both, relatively speaking, positive profiles but they did show some of his skeletons, as an unbiased report should. Incidentally, at least one of them showed front pages from the New York post reporting on the affairs.
And yes, I am aware of those things. But think pragmatically....the jilted wives may (!!!) have financial justification for not speaking ill. To your example...why hasn’t Hillary spoken ill of Bill, right? And I have not said a thing about his relationship with his children OTHER than he betrayed their trust, which he did. By all accounts he appears to be a decent father, the one issue I’ve raised notwithstanding.
Fair enough, FRiend. But trumpsters should not delude themselves about one thing: While it is true that trump does not need the money and is in fact sacrificing personal wealth, do not think for a moment that the power of the presidency is not sufficient lure in itself...especially for a man who has everything else.
I never paid any attention.
I also clearly remember a few months ago when the hit job came out about Trump being violent with one of his exes, the one in question immediately came out and called the writer of the article a liar. She was the one who commended him as one who would be a GREAT president.
Just my opinion, but it's pretty clear she admired him, and for the life of me I can't comprehend how this would help her financially, it was too quick a response for some kind of negotiation. If she didn't respect him, she could have remained silent, and let him twist in the wind.
Question: Did you vote for Reagan?
So he's got THAT going for him.
I did. And before you go there...note that I did not comment on there being divorces. I’m divorced, could hardly throw stones for that. But I will absolutely cast doubt at a man who is unfaithful to the mother of his children. As I said that is a most intimate of trusts that he casually threw aside. If he will do THAT to the people he loved the most, what will he do to us? Infidelity, especially after children, is an automatic disqualifier for me for someone running for public office.
Check it further back and you’ll note that “braying trumpeters” is about the extent of my “attacks”...and never directed at an individual, only generally
But thank you for the acknowledgement.
