i figure if a guy wants to make a fool of himself dressing up like a woman, okay with me... clothes are a cultural thing anyway, so long as he wears enough clothing he can wear a burqua for all i care

I agree. For all I know, I could be passing men dressed as women or women dressed as men every day, without noticing. However, cross-dressing men are more likely to dress like Norma Desmond (or Morticia Addams) than they are to dress as ordinary women.
